For more than 20 years, we've had the privilege to partner with Viña Del Rey (Vineyard of the King) in Chincha, Peru. Founded in 1987 by Pastor Gerardo Guzman and his wife Persia, Viña Del Rey began as a simple daycare program for neighborhood children left at home while their parents worked. It has since evolved into a network of three nationally accredited schools serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, along with four main churches, numerous satellite churches and neighborhood bible studies. In addition to these diverse ministries, the Cup of Milk Ministry—established by Pastor Gerardo's children—further supports the community by providing weekly meals to children in need.

Lead Pastor Wayne Williams first connected with Peru in 2000 during a conference in Lima, where he met Pastor Guzman.  He returned the following year with a group from his church in Kentucky and has continued to visit annually. In 2020, Wayne and Viña Del Rey celebrated 20 years of friendship and the incredible milestone of 1,000 people joining Wayne on trips to Chincha.

Renew Church has been honored to continue this ongoing partnership through annual and semi-annual mission trips, offering support through medical, dental and optical clinics, as well as construction teams and English language instruction.
